True to the non-conformist nature of the Cross of Lorraine (as featured in the vineyards & restaurant logo’s), Dieu Donne is the first vineyards in the Cape Winelands to present a micro-brewery to complement the wines and cuisine at its new restaurant & micro-brewery. Purchasing malt from Caledon, hops from George and yeast Internationally, Dieu Donne now produces British-style Ale German-style Pilsner and Weiss Beer, all from consumption & tap at the restaurant. Pure spring water is used in brewery-process which is sourced on the farm. All Dieu Donne beers are 100% malt based making them more full bodied and flavour driven than normally found.
